Hey,
They are cool little monitors, I dont own any personally but I have worked with them before, but they reach a length of 18-28 inches , they can be housed in about a 60 gallon reach ( they do like room to move. Not very cold tolerent at all, they do like some humidity. A good subtrate is like about 8 inches of cypress, but ive heard of people using sand and dirt also works well too. Large enough water dish to get into and soak. They do like some hieght and branches to climb on. They eat alot of large insects ( superworms , roaches etc) and also rodents and occasionally egg.UV lighting is always good to have, and good ambiant heating. They dont usually have the greatest personalities but can be tamed down fairly well.....and I would expect anywhere around about 200 dollars would be a far price for an adult female
