Water Monitors Water Temperature

:I was just wondering what temperature I should keep my water monitors water tub at. I just afraid that it gets to cool at night because he loves to sleep in it. I do have a heat source on at night , but its on the other side of the cage. Would this cold water make him prone to getting sick (eg. Resp Infections)? If I need to boost the temperature, what is the best way to do it? Right now I just have a light over top of the water.
