I use all outdoor stuff. I give it a quick rinse with the hose and that's about it. I've had no problems.

:I want to get a large log for my nile's cage, for climbing & basking purposes. Instead of buying a log for top dollar I thought I would just go to a forrest and cut a nice branch off an oak tree --- for free. Any objections, on why this is or is not a good idea?
