Unfortunately, the best way to collect these animals is habitat-destructive. Wait until winter when the swamps are freezing up a little and rip open rotting logs around the edges of the swamps. I don't really recommend doing that, though. Road cruising in mid to late spring at night is fairly productive and not nearly as damaging to the habitat. You may want to check Louisiana laws regarding collecting indigenous species before you do that.

:COULD SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME THE BEST TIME OF THE YEAR TO COLLECT LOUISIANA MILKS. IN AND AROUND NEW ORLEANS AND HOUMA LOUISIANA. THANKS DON.
