pretty calm after one year. I hold them a fair amount during this first year, although I have heard some people say that they don't hold them at all during their first year, other than the basic cleaning and feeding handling. If I skimp on the handling for a few weeks now (they are 18 months and 30 months at this time), they tend to be more jumpy when I do take them out. But they are always more flighty than a cornsnake of the same age. I had a Pueblan and he was REALLY flighty for the first year, but after that he calmed down somewhat.
