:I keep a dish of mealworms in my leo enclosure at all times, but the problem is after a night the mealworms become inactive and just sort of lay there not moving. IS there anything I can do to keep them active?

I’ve seen this a lot with mature mealworms. The ones i buy from the local pet store are normally large, and become lethargic soon after warming up (they are kept in the fridge at the pet store). I think they are trying there hardest to turn into pupae and that is way they are not active. I’ve found it best to buy ‘medium’ sized mealworms online, and gutload them until they are a bit larger. These worms seem to be more lively and nutritious. I get my mealworms from www.wormman.com, but im sure there are others that can provide a similar service. If you have any more questions let us know!
