1) When you look at a lizard on sand, you think he must be happy.
2) Pet shops get to make lots of money on you - that's why they have sand in all their cages.
3) You can clean it with a spoon like kitty litter.
4) It /does/ distribute heat well.
Minus: you can't keep leopard geckos on sand until they're adults.

:: I know this topic has been brought up before, and i don't mean to start any long drawn out conversations concerning sand. I know sand has its pros and cons. But... If I was to use sand as a substrate, what would be the BEST choice? I have heard of people using Calci-Sand, Repti-Sand, and Play Sand. Which is the best bet?
