i'm still contacting ppl and was able to contact both herp groups here on oregon, one didn't even know about the bill. i also contacted vets and pet stores , i'm trying to arrange a letter writing campain, i have many ppl that do not even own herps that are going to send letters in. i've been over the bill with a friend who is pretty good at understanding them, he found alot of it to be far to broad. and if washington is haveing some success that gives hope to us here in oregon. i work for the state and know how tight money is in the state, so i also figured the money could/would be a hang up point, since right now they are not paying for any regulations. and with this bill they will have to pay alot. i'm going to cotact the aggriculture department, since the bill says they will be in charge of running it, it would be great to get them to oppose it. well i'm off for now, have a few more ppl to visit.
