: This bill has been reintroduced by Senator Marcellino of Oyster Bay. He is also the Chairman of the Senate Environmental Conservation Committee. Please contact your state representatives to convey your displeasure of the this bill in its regards to keeping reptiles and amphibians. The premise of this bill that keeping the reptile species listed exhibits an increased burdon on law agencies for enforcement is ABSOLUTELY Not true. It may be the case in NYC but that's a result of the environment, not due to the nature of the animals.
