adversely effect us. Sure there should be some criteria for the keeping of certain animals but what exactly should that criteria be ? You would think that it would be there already. In Kansas we had a double dog attack on a smal child. It got mentioned on local news. Then we had a snake escape from a pet store. That got mentioned more times then the dog attack. See where I'm going ? The snake was a 5 foot boa. It didn't ATTACK any one. It did cause some mild local panic though. The police or someone ran over the snake. The dogs in the other attack was kenneled at the local animal control agency. Verdict is out on the dogs if they are to be put down or not. Wonder why these mix breed of dogs are not considered " dangerous animals ". Because they are not " exotic ". And we all know non-exotic animals are responsible for more deaths/maiming then exotics. But the " domestic " animals are better understood by the mainstream population. RIGHT ! They are pets. RIGHT ! No way a exotic could be a pet. RIGHT !
