most state officials and pretty much everyone (except hollywood celebs and hippies) knows that PETA are a bunch of fanatics with nothing better to do with their lives. It's the humane society you have to worry about. They are much more respected in the eyes of officials. PETA is a joke, they are only good if someone wants to boycott a pet store or something that requires nothing but a bunch of raving lunatics hollering about how THEY think the animal is being treated. I wouldn't worry too much, they would see right through PETA's unjustified claims, unless of course Jessie Jackson or Johnny Cochran became members.
:I live in Utah. Our department of Wildlife Resources is currently considering laws that will ensure humane treatment of captive herps. Does anyone know of some kind of official guide lines that the state may use as template? I am worried they may take a page for some PETA book or some other unreasonable source and I'd like to be able to give them something that is actually good for the herps and reasonable for the herpers.
:Any help is appreciated. Thanks
