A man wearing a snake to a Corowa nightclub has been fined by police for refusing to leave the club.
At 3am Sunday police were called to the Corowa Sports and Citizens Club after a patron wearing a snake around his neck refused to obey an order from club staff to leave.Police arrived at the nightclub where they found a Corowa man, 25, with his pet carpet python draped around his shoulders.
Despite the man protesting there was no law against taking a pet python to a nightclub he was fined $550 for refusing to leave the club
