by NOT having insurance, or by NOT having affordable insurance, THEN, WE cannot keep our reptiles. Which is exactly what THEY want. So I don't understand what you think I have to consider. I was simply stating that they don't want us to keep reptiles, period, the insurance may very well be a catch 22 when the time comes for it. The mastiff thing was an example, nothing more.

:then you have to consider the fact that lately homeowner's insurance is refusing to give people coverage due to having reptiles.. so not only is it an expensive policy to have, but you have to find someone willing to provide it! oh and 250lb bull mastiff??? uh.. you sure its a bull mastiff? We have some, they (generally) don't get over 175 :) The English & French mastiffs are the bigger ones..
