Is CHIAC still around?

Does anyone know whether the California Herpetoculture Industry Advisory Committee (CHIAC) still exists as an active organization? Using a search engine, I've been able to locate a website (www.syspac.com/~varney/chiac.html) but it doesn't look like there has been an update for several years. There is an email address for the newsletter editor and phone numbers listed for two of the executive directors; one is no longer available. If no one knows, I'll send the editor an email or contact Gary Flanagan who is listed as the Director for the Northern California area. In addition to their obvious advisory capabilities, I wouldn't mind hearing an assessment about the impact (if any) the California rules have had on the wild populations of Lichanura in California.
