Well this is something I have been wanting to do and it seems that every time the chance comes I end up passing on it for one reason or another. So this time I went for it. I was at a show in Taylor, MI adopting an amazon tree boa from the mid michigan reptile rescue. And I was thinking of how sad it was that I was leaving the show with only one snake and extra cash in my pocket. It just felt wrong :) So, I spent another hour or so looking around. It was a choice between a cape gopher (P. c. vertibralis) or a baby arizona mountain kingsnake (L. p. pyromelana) I decided to take my chance and get the kingsnake. I'm glad I did. He is maybe 12 inches, was bred by the breeder and has eaten 9 meals already, 4 live, 5 frozen. I couldn't resist. I will get pictures up soon. Next on my list is L. p. knoblochi. Hopefully I don't have to wait another 4 years to get into it.

Jeff
