Thanks Brandon- that does help. Any major size difference between males and females (other than girth)? I've got a 2002 female that's around 18-20 inches. I was pleasantly surprised at how laid back she seems to be. Compared to my rat snakes- she's really calm and ate 3 pinks the day I got her. Normally I'd wait to feed a new addition but I was feeding everthing else and had some extra pinks...

:average size for most adult mex. black kings will be around 36-40". They are a bit smaller than most other sub-species, but there are the exceptions. I hope that helps.
