I found a King Snake!!

I need someones help, I live in Macon GA and last night we had a big storm. I went out my front door to check the weather and found a black king snake with yellow bands sitting on my step. Not being a snake type guy my first thought was kill kill kill. But I realized it was a King Snake and that most folks keep them as pets. Not wanting to hurt it at this point it took off. this is the problem. it crawled into the frame of my house and theres no way for me to get it out. I was wondering if someone can tell me what kind of food can i put out that he like to eat so he may crawl out of the house where I can remove him safley. I have to hurry before my wife makes us move out of the house.. Help
