Hi,
Finally, my snakes have been out of brumation for a little over a month now, none of my pyros have had their first sheds yet, I have one normal pyro gravid right now, she was bred by my het-hypo male- so those babys will be 50% chance het-hypos, they bred 4x, I paired them up yesterday and nothing happend, but they've been breeding for the last 2 weeks, so I put the hypo in and within 5 minutes they started copulating, it lasted for 20 minutes, I'll try and get them to breed atleast 2-3 more times, all thats left for that male now is a poss.het-hypo female, hopefully find out this year if shes a het or not ?, I'll snap some pics of the hypo and het breeding and post em up, I just didnt want to disturb them their first time, I'm really hoping to produce some hypos from that pair, I'm skeptical still because the male het is from BHB line of hypos-(which also produces albinos) and my female is from Frank Memmos line, and to my knowledge they are differnt strains of hypomelanism, so I'm hoping its compatible, and if not I guess it will produce 100% het hypos and half will be double hets for 2 differnt strains of hypo, which maybe if bred x each other it would produce a lighter hypo ?, just some thoughts, but I hope it will be compatible and produce some hypos, well I'm going to pair them up again tomarrow and I'll take some pics so they'll be up in a few days.
