He has black eyes, and in the sunlight he looks very purple... no black on his body. Nice yellow and purple cal king is all I can say. I know you can't see the purple in the photo, some guy at the "What kind of Snake is This" Forum was a little rude about that, but he gets less brown and more purple w/ every shed.
