help - comfort please

Hello. I discovered a prairie kingsnake in my yard the other day. I discarded the sheet of metal i guess he was living under? Now, he and the mrs (smaller) have moved closer to my house. The garden is freshly tilled - maybe they like the loose soil. Anyway, i don't much care for them hanging out. The bigger one even got all coiled up and sat up when i saw him once today. Too scarey to me. I need to plant in there. I don't want to hurt them and i would prefer they move elsewhere. Any suggestions. Just not comfortable with snakes yet. I live in the country and love nature more than anything, but haven't relaxed about snakes yet. thanks for any help - peace & love,,,,,,, jane janesworld99@yahoo.com
