Yes, usually when a snake doesn't shed properly, it has to do with humidity. A lot of our favorite snakes come from tropical areas where it is naturally more humid. You could try putting bark down as a substrate bedding as it tends hold in more moisture and will make the whole tank a bit more humid in general. The goal is to get your critter to shed in one piece again. :)

To get that last piece off now, you could try soaking the snake in some warm water first to soften it. Do not pull it off try as you could pull up scales with it. Their skin, in between the scales, is actually quite thin and very easily torn. Always rub and *never* pull.

:Get a damp paper towel and moisten the stuck shed and try and rub it off.
