yea, he will soak when he wants to. my king didn't shed well when he was a youngin...he has been getting better...don't worry so much about how he sheds...its natural. just make sure he is in some humidity and maybe spray him with a water bottle if u want in the the week leading up to his shedding...like when he starts getting cloudy. but don't be alarmed when he starts flaking. just don't try and shed his skin for him...and keep something rough in his home to rub against.
