Ok, so my snake went blue like not this past tuesday but tuesday before. Yet, he still has not shed yet (he's gone back to clear but I have yet to find a shed skin anywhere).
I know he's not been shedding recently as nice as he should be (though he's been shedding a lot more than he should, he's five years old and I swear shedding around once a month, I think though he was also getting fat, could that have to do with his shedding a lot?). He's actually not chubby anymore because since he was shedding I haven't fed him so he's lost a little of his overweightness (he went blue exactly a week after I fed him and was going to feed him again, and then it's been almost a week and a half since then). I do know at least once when he was clear he looekd like he was hunting and very hungry (which is very odd for him since he is very good about not eating while in shedding mode, sometimes it's how I know before he even goes blue he's going to be shedding).
Anyways, I know that I've read somewhere you can hold a wet towel and pull it over him. I don't want to do this unlses I have to, but how do you know it's just time to force the shed off of him (or if maybe there's another reason he went blue and then went clear again)?
Any other ideas on how to get him to shed? And could some one explain the towel trick so I know what exactly to do?
