I would havto agree with the "cooler" idea, my knob is full grown and since he was a lil baby he never cared much for heat, he spends ALL of his time right now in room temp and always digests his food quick and thourough....something with those knobs, they just prefer it a little less hot compared to say, california kings. Mine eats like a monster, is EXTREMEMLY easy going, never bitten before in his life (unlike my others heh) and i for one LOVE how they stay so "mid-sized" when full grown, very easy to take care of!
