Actually the circles on his back are like a dark chocolate color. I believe they do get just as big as easterns and
Floridas. The guy I bought this snake from had one MONSTROUSLY large snake which was one of the three varieties (can't recall) and said that our snake would gain that size too. VERY large robust snakes. We'll see if he'll do anything with our female, and if so we'll have a clutch of eggs too. I've heard that they can have a wide variety of offspring... from fiery orange-red to patternless, axanthic and amelanistic too (I think) Anyway, they ARE really cool. I really like this snake, and the more I look at him the better I like him.

:Thanks for the info - that makes sense to me. I've heard of Blotched Kings, but never seen one. I love the black circles on his back! I have an Eastern, and he did remind me somewhat of that (makes sense, if they're related). Do you know if they get as big as the Floridas and Easterns?
