I read the hour to hour description of how his friends and colleges attempted to keep him alive ……..until his death. The article was in an Outdoor Magazine. The story hit me rather hard, one mistake with a small banded krait and there is nothing you can do, what a shame. I remember the article stating that Joe knew everything that was going to happen to him after the bite and told his colleges what to expect, sounds like a bad situation.
