what you seem to be describing is the old conjunta and nitida phase Baja Cal. Kings. They were quite a bit larger on average than the normal cal kings and were the color/pattern you were talking about. In recent years with no exportation from Mexico there have been very few true Baja Kings on the market. The last pair I had ( which were really old ) went to KJ at Cajun Reptiles. I am not sure if he still has them or not. They were direct descentants of the original wild caught Mexican Animals. These animals were very different than the "Baja Cal Kings" that you see now in that they had smaller heads and a distinct body shape that made them stand out in comparison to the spendita/cal king cross you see advertised as Baja kings.
