: You'll probably laugh at me here... Yesterday at work, we got a box of greens (I work at a florist) and there was this lil' (1/4") snail in the box. He is really cute and we couldn't just throw him out, it is cold and we thought he would die. So, I brought him home. (I'm one who can't kill a bug or anything, I catch them and put them back outside. lol!!!) So anyway, I put him in my tank that I have my frogs in.(I figured the turtles would eat him) There is land, water and plants- Pothos and Spath. He is now hanging out at the top of the tank on the glass. I am going to put him outside in the spring, but have no idea whet they eat??? I know the under water snails eat the alage, but never had a land snail...
