:Hi Tyler: While I would hate to discourage anyone from these wonderful animals, they are certainly advanced not intermediate snakes. They need lots of room, can be picky eaters, are messy in their cages & expensive to get, on the other hand Easterns won't bite & since they will be captive bred will be parasite free & started on pinks ( I'm assuming your snake would come from a reputable breeder).
