:hey every one i was wondering if an eastern indigo would be an ok snake for an intermediat keeper i have expeirience with corn snakes and a little with boas and kingsnakes but i was wondering if an eastern indigo is a good snake
:Hi Tyler: While I would hate to discourage anyone from these wonderful animals, they are certainly advanced not intermediate snakes. They need lots of room, can be picky eaters, are messy in their cages & expensive to get, on the other hand Easterns won't bite & since they will be captive bred will be parasite free & started on pinks ( I'm assuming your snake would come from a reputable breeder). If you think you are up to it, you can get tons of information here & at indigosnakes.com. if you join us Drymarchoners good luck.
