Nice series of photos.
As I said earlier, I'd prefer to see a larger sample size, but your argument is a reasonable one. The lack of face & neck slashes pushes your beast towards corais corais, & I'll bet you a pint that somewhere to the East/Southeast theirs a cline.
I guess what I'd like to hear is your definition of a species...

:Found a few spare minutes to do some slide scanning, and included some Drymarchon in the last lot. I have put up a few more photos relating to D. caudomaculatus on the Indigo Snake Systematics Page, which might be of interest.
