My top three choices so far would be:

1) Indigo Breeders & Conservation Alliance (I think this sums up what we are trying to do in a nice, concise way)

2) Drymarchon Breeders' Conservation & Research Trust (If this is going to be a true "trust" type of funding, this would be my top choice as it focuses on captive breeding, conservation and research)

3) Indigo Foundation for Recovery & Protection (another neat name for this group; once again, is an actual foundation going to be set up for this project?)...protection, in the world of land management, can sometimes mean simply preserving the land without any habitat management...without sound conservation plans in place, however, this type of philosophy will not work in the long run.

So, those are my top three choice. I look forward to hearing what everyone else thinks about it.

:Ok so we have lots of good ideas. Suggestions on how to vote this thing:

:I can put all suggestions on a post...then have folks vote on their favorite "3" (by email to me) I can then tally up the votes (don't worry, I'm not from Florida- no punch card ballots)

:I will choose the top 5 from my feedback, and post them.
:Then we will have a final...everyone choose only their favorite vote.

:That sound good?
:One more suggestion...I don't think everyone should have an equal vote.

:Here's my suggestion:

:-- Dry breeder who is going to participate: 2 votes
:-- Forum regular who owns or is very interested in Dry's: 1 vote
:-- Someone we don't know: 0 votes.

:comments? suggestions?
:other thoughts?
