Still renting...and as long as the wife's in school (and still wanting to move around) we probably will remain that way.

Right now all the critters (herps, hamsters, dormice, etc) are sharing an office with me. Surprisingly, our last landlord was completely cool with the snakes as long as they were well caged. The current landlord didn't care either when it came down to it, but was less enthusiastic than the last one.
