Yellowtails are beautiful animals, probably the largest of the Drymarchon, also probably the worst tempered. I've been bitten by four Drymarchon, three were Yellowtails (one was a Uni that never bit again). I have a 5' female now that will bite me continually if I let her (I don't let her). On the other hand (no pun intended) I have a 7' female that’s never betten (only Yellowtail I've had like that). If you love these snakes as I do, no problem, but for a beginner in Drymarchon I'd go with anything else. I don't think you will find captive born babies now, I've only heard of two clutches this year, WC do come in, and get picked up right away, if you get one of these fantastic animals WC get it to a Vet for parasite treatment.
