Thank you for all you support and help with this problem with previous, especially to those who emailed and helped me. I Finally got my Unicolor to eat a rat after a Flagel treatment, took her for a walk about 5 days later and received a stool sample that I rushed to the vet. I found that she had strongyloides and I didn't know were it came from. Later one of my perfectly healthy snakes ended up dieing over a week or two time period which made me suspect my rat colony. Got fecal samples from many of my adult rats and rushed to the vet. He found flagelites, giardia, and sprilkeets. I have been dealing with this sickness for several months and never suspected my rats because they always had healthy stools and the hygiene of my rats and snakes has always been XXX-clean. I had to kill off my entire rat and mouse breeders and babies and now I have to start over. I am treating my entire snake collection (including Indigos (Texas and Eastern), Unicolor and Blacktail Crebos with NO PROBLEMS) with Panacur and Flagel hoping to finally kick this thing. I need to purchase more rats and mice can anyone recommend someone who sells them and has quality frozen rodents? If anyone has any questions regarding this matter, please feel free to email me direct. Thanks again everyone!!
