Fred, you are 100% right. Like I said, I spent a lot of time researching things and was actually on my way to doing things right. After reading as much info as I could find on them and deciding I was ready to do this, I contacted the breeders on indigosnakes.com. Dean was sold out and Virgil sounded like he was probably going to keep his last female as a holdback. When this guy came along I just didn't want to miss the opportunity by waiting and rather than being patient I made a spontaneous purchase. I'm fairly trusting by nature and have never really been screwed like this before so I kinda set myself up for failure.
What's so ironic is that I'm not usually the kind of person that makes spontaneous purchases....especially when it involves high end animals.
It's obvious when I read your posts and the posts of some others on this forum that you take genuine pride in your animals and truly admire and respect these creatures. I didn't get that feeling from Michael Crowder and that should have been enough of a reason not to buy an indigo from him.
