Yes,you will find that males typically get much larger than females (for this species). My male is twice the size of my female at five years of age....king of strange when you consider the size and roughness of the eggs they produce. When I saw the size of the eggs that my female produced, I was blown away. Even in hatchlings, I have found that males are a little larger than females and they tend to begin feeding sooner (but that is based on only producing two clutches over the last two years with my pair).
:I have a couple of corais couperi, I want to know if is normal that the male is bigger than female at the same years old.
