:I am so excited. I just got my got my new black-tailed cribo. Her name is Rio. (Sorry if that song gets stuck in your head all day now.) Rio is such a sweety. I can not say enough good things about her, lol. I have had her for 3 days now and last night she shed for the first time. A very nice complete, all intact shed. I don't have any children so bear with me. I am just wondering what is the best way to preserve the shedding for posterity reasons? I was thinking the old wax paper trick like with leaves. Any other thoughts? Pics coming soon. She is a real beauty.
:
My wife is a teacher and she used to laminate hatchling sheds and cut them into bookmarks. She would include a small label to identify the kind of snake and where it comes from. She would bring them into school and pass them out to her students as rewards. The kids were collecting them like baseball cards:)
Good luck,
Chris
