: My adult male eastern indigo had some skin problems (dry patches, winter dryness) so I set up a cardbox box with moist sphagnum moss. The results are amazing. He shed yesterday and his skin is really beautiful and healed. Thought I would share this.
Indigos often get areas of skin prior to a shed that look lighter in color than the rest of their skin. Moisture boxes help facilitate and prevent these problems.
