If possible...give hide places in BOTH the cool and warm spots.

but if there is only one hide, it should be in the cool spot. you don't want to make them choose between the preferred temp and security.

That hide box in the heat spot is probably ususally too hot for your snakes liking...but it wants the security of the box.
