: this is my first season with adult easterns. i have witnessed copulation on 3 occasions. when do they hibernate? i am concerned about hibernating the female. will she continue to develop the eggs during hibernation? or does she wait until spring? will 5 weeks of hibernation be enough? thanks in advance for your help.
Drymarchon do not hibernate!!!!! If she is gravid you should keep her warm (75-80F) and give her a nest box in April. If you need meor info, you can email me.
