I would like to add a few words on the Blacktail Cribo (D.c.melanurus). They are in my opnion the "deal" of the Drymarchon family of snakes. They are the least expensive ones I sell, due in part to the fact that they are still being imported. Not only does that keep the prices down, but they are also the easiest and most productive Drymarchon to breed. I constantly get a higher hatch ratio as well as larger clutches from the Dcm. They get as big as the Easterns, they are usually just as mellow and I think they are beautiful. Some are much nicer than others, but an eight footer with light green backs and yellow bellies are awesome. I recommend to anybody that can't afford an Eastern or one of the other higher priced Drymarchon look into the Blacktails.
