Very exciting, this is a first for me.
Ended up with only 5 perfect babies, but I’ll take it.
They are really cool! Speckled like some of the eastern babies, but the speckling is kind of light grey…unlike the sky blue of the easterns. This scanned pic doesn’t really do them justice.
The ground color is very hard to describe, but a lot like their mother. I’d say somewhere between charcoal grey and very very (very) dark brown. They have a little tan on the cheek, and the chin and upper ventral is BRIGHT yellow-gold….turning jet glossy black the rest of the way down.
These guys are amazingly iridescent. Little rainbows all over them dorsally and ventrally.
I’ll try to get some more pics here soon…showing the ventral.
