Chris, if you know how to use the "search this forum" feature....but were too lazy to, shame on you [see search box on the indigo home page & enter cribo & then melanurus as search criteria...then cut n paste the ones you like & make your own custom cribo page for the next person that asks a month from now....what kind of care does my cribo....]
Theres been lots of goodies painstakingly keystroked previously....one shows their appreciation for these earlier efforts by using the search feature rather than spamming the main screen w/ stuff thats been posted....over n' over... ad infinitum.
Others feel free to cut n paste this for future use because in a week or 2....the same advice will be due again!
: : Do they usually do ok if properly cared for or are they difficult to get established?
: The answer is Yes. Not much of an answer, I know. Having followed this forum for a while, but never having worked with cribos, WC or CB, what I get from the keepers of wc cribos is:
: -Sometimes WC acclimate just fine, take to prekilled just fine, show no "unusual" aggresive behaviors
: -Sometimes WC are sick, don't want to eat, and would really, really love to kill you.
: -Usually it's some behavior in between these two extremes.
: If you have experience acclimating other WC colubrids, you probably can expect more of the same experiences with cribos. Hope this is helpful.
