take exception to...I'm certain BT/Uni/YT are probably longer than N American Indigos...Hadn't seen any documentation tho..Either DT or RR could be right...I'm sure there are 10ftrs out there of all the southern varieties!!!Still wonderful animals..
You have to realize that handling a 9 ft, HEAVY, Colubrid that is NOT a constrictor is a much bigger handful than a 10 ft boa...Takes serious getting used to, but lots of fun..
RR, if you weren't so busy organizing your Heinekin, you'd probably be able to find your documentation!! :-)
Let us know where got the info, I'd love to see it..So little real, published data about all these animals and, particularily, the authentic Cribos of Central America and S America...
"Uno mas cerveza por favor, senorita!!" I'm off to watch the Rampaging Rockies conquer the poor LA Dodgers!!! Carlos
: W/o taking the time to pull my files...Im not that organized...I have a paper describing a record melanurus (BTC) @ 3m (just under 10'@ 9.84'), this I suggest then, is the largest documented guardian, Carls friendly cribonegros....notwithstanding! But yah-ta-hey I've been trying to believe.... size doesnt matter!!!
:
: : They can get a good bit longer and bigger...Unicolors and Blacktails seem the most massive...I've got a 7 1/2' Uni that weighs 11 lbs and he doesn't look fat...I think the length title is held by the YT, but I've read reliable texts with measurements of Tx Indigos at 9 1/2'
: : As for price...Depends on lots of things, size, CB or WC, hatchling, adult, which variety, a very difficult question to give a blanket answer for..Sorry
: : Call some of the breeders listed on the breeder page, they'll be happy to give you prices...Carl
: :
: : : Does it get as big as an indigo?
