Length is something that is tough to accurately measure but with weight, we can be precise.
Carl has a 7.5 foot uni' that weighs 11 pounds. I have an Eastern that's 8 feet and weighs in at 8.5 lbs. I would say that Carls critter is "bigger".
I've never kept YellowTails, but I hear they can reach 10 feet. Someone we know recently picked up a FEMALE that is bigger than my Eastern or Carl's Uni.
I think that it's pretty safe to say that individual animals of any of the subspecies can grow larger than the "average" size of any of the other subspecies...but my money is on YT's when it comes to the ultimate "biggest" of the Dry's.
