There is no harm in keeping a female as a pet only and not breeding her. It will help keep your own blood pressure down too :-)

: If I have a female eastern (or any other snake for that matter)and don't breed her is that bad for her? Does she produce eggs? What happens to the eggs if they are not fertilized? I need a small lesson in snake reproduction. Thanks.
