: I put my indigo pair together again tonight. The female was a touch blue, but I figured I'd try anyway. Well as nice as the male was, she wasn't having anything to do with him. She avoided him completely. If she could have gotten out of the cage she would have. She musked all over the cage though (those of you unfamiliar with indigo musk, consider yourself lucky) so I got to clean out the entire cage.
: I'll reintroduce them after she sheds to see if she's interested. It may be that she's already had enough of him for the year.

Keep a close eye on them, please! A reptile breeder that I know asked me about my method of breeding these snakes, i.e. how long I keep them together, what temp. etc. etc. You guessed it, he completely ignored my advice, left them together unattended, and didn't feed them very well. Viola!!!! Now he has ONE LARGE MALE Eastern Indigo. Some folks never learn........
