3rd clutch of indigos is hatching

This morning I looked into the last two clutches of eggs and I saw that one of the eggs in one clutch had pipped. This clutch was deposited on March 15, 2002. So, 2 1/2 months to hatching.

The female is a 1997 red phase. The male is a 1999 red phase. It will be interesting to see how many red babies hatch. Last year I used a different red phase male with this female. Of that clutch, 10 eggs hatched, nine of which were of the red phase and one of which was of the black phase.
