Nine out of nine of my Blacktail's eggs were 30 grams each, eight of my Eastern's were 40 grams, one was 45 grams. The Blacktail laid 21 days after shedding, the Eastern 29 days. Both snakes are about the same weight & length, Just the eight days difference, or one of subspecies. Anyone else have weights on their eggs right after laying?
