Thanks for your kind comments. Angel, as well as all of the snakes in the study, were from east-central Florida. The study site was from the cocoa-beach area to the Kennedy space center region. That snake was pretty typical of the indigos of that region. Most all were black with just a splash of bright red on the chin.

A few some red on the face, but that was not typical.

a side note...Angel was named after an "exotic dancer" at a cocoa beach club. LOL
